book blog about me - Literary Cobblestones

Back in 2015, I found myself freshly graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in English Lit & New Media — nearly a decade after graduating high school, mind you — jobless, with a mountain of debt, and not a chance in hell of nepotism ever showing up to save the day.

The idea for Literary Cobblestones arose out of both passion and desperation, giving me an opportunity to explore the (then) emerging industry of digital marketing through a subject matter I was familiar with — literary quotes.

From SEO to copywriting, the original version of my beloved book blog served me well and helped me launch a successful career as a copywriter and strategist. Now, I’ve relaunched my favorite passion project as a full-fledged website with a slightly different approach.

Instead of being led by quotes, they’re sprinkled in with the focus being book reviews and general reading aesthetic — both of which are tailored around my favorite genres: thrillers, horror, gothic lit, crimes, and mysteries. I also give priority to LGBTQ+ novels, especially sapphic-themed reads.

🏳️‍🌈📚 Literary Cobblestones is a safe, inclusive space for book lovers. Welcome.
